I’m a writer and a graphic artist. I am also a wife, and a work-at-home mom to two wonderful little girls; ages 8 and 6. For over 12 years I used my skills by working outside of the home. The last few years worth of which I dragged my sleepy little girls to a daycare every morning, secretly wishing to become a full-time freelancer; able to do the type of work I loved and be more available for my girls (while they were actually awake!) A surprise lay-off from the corporation I’d been working at, for over 10 years, turned was just the opportunity I needed to launch my freelance career. Within a month I was working on projects for my first clients as a full-time freelancer.

With nearly five years of full-time freelancing under my belt, I find I am now frequently asked by others what I would recommend for them to get started as a freelancer. I plan to use this blog to answer some of those questions, as well as questions asked by potential freelance clients in regards to the average freelancer/client relationship. (Note: All advice will be based on my own experience, or experiences shared with me by other freelancers, and should not be considered a guarantee for freelance success).

If you would like to submit a question for me to tackle on this blog, feel free to either comment on a post, or contact me via my web-site at www.suzannewesley.com.

I look forward to hearing from you!

– Suzanne

    • Thanks, but I’m not completely new to WordPress. I have another blog I will also be resurrecting where I review Christian fiction and book cover design called the Book & Cover Reviewer. 🙂 bookandcoverreview.wordpress.com
